ALART 2023
Alart 2023 will bring together exhibitions, interventions, video projections, music, and dance. In this edition, Casal Son Tugores will host an exhibition featuring works from the CCC Pelaires collection, a true institution in the gallery world with over 50 years of history! We will also see the project “After the fire, ashes-remain” by Patty Chacana and Evarist Torres, as well as “Observatori,” a collective exhibition that will offer a small journey from local to international art, with works by Keila Alaver (Brazil), Juan Uribe (Colombia), Ángela Bonadies (Venezuela), and Mallorcan artists such as Xisco Bonnín and Marta Font, among others.
In the Roser chapel of the Alaró church, there will be an installation by Rafa Forteza. Similarly, we will highlight the participation of Pep Llambias, Marcelo Viquez, Paula Valdeón Lemus, and Carlos Macià, among many other notable artists.
Alart has always stood out for its contemporary dance programme. This edition will once again feature a performance by the Puntiapart Dansteatre company, directed by Carlos Miró, as well as a flamenco percussion performance by Alberto Trabado.
The Alart programme will include activities throughout June and July, with a children's workshop led by Julia Panadès and a visit to the Palmyra Sculpture Centre.
The closing event, at the end of July, will be in the hands of the Ploma company, with the performance “Temporal,” an original idea by Aina Pascual.
