Alart 2024

This 17th edition features the participation of over 40 artists who will show their works in different spaces that the public can visit.


Among the artists in this new edition, there are renowned local artists with significant international careers, as well as national and international artists.


he renowned artist Susy Gómez will conduct an intervention with meditation in the Roser Chapel of the church.


A highlight of this edition is the exhibition at Casal Son Tugores of the private collection from the Maior Gallery, a prestigious gallery with over 30 years of experience in the art world.


Eva Lootz, Aitor Ortiz, Laia Ventayol, and Luis Gordillo are some of the notable names we will find in this distinguished collection.


On the first floor of Casal Son Tugores, there will be the “Observatori” exhibition, featuring works by renowned local artists and Alaró residents such as Laura Marte, Julian Smith, and Natasha Lébedeva, along with national and international artists like Liliana Zapata, Alejandro Botubol, Marta Serna, and Edurne Camacho.


In the arcades oft he town hall, works by Horacio Sapere will be shown, and in the town hall courtyard, sculptures by artists Joan Costa and Dan Mandelbaum will be exhibited, in collaboration with the Palmyra Sculpture Centre, which will also host an open day on Saturday, June 8th.


It is worth noting that this year sees the revival of two projects that had been on hold: the Natalia Bento Contemporary Art Gallery is joining the Alart programme, showcasing works by artists like Rafa Forteza, Katrin Kirk, Kasizen, Pep Llambias, and Mariana Sarraute, who will also present an installation in the Molí Room of Casal Son Tugores. Additionally, Pep Llambies’ work will be featured again, relaunching the exhibition space in the Xalet Street showcase.​


Throughout the night, there will be interesting activities happening at the same time, such as the “Fluo” performance in the town square, with performances by the Alaró Dance Company and the Ploma Company, also from Alaró, among others.​



Most exhibitions will remain open until July 20th, with parallel activities taking place throughout June.
